Pictures are worth 1,000 words...

What would you like to say to Michale?
Pictures are worth 1,000 words...

It is going to be a different world for both of us!!

What would you like to say to Michale?

This is too funny to pass up -
I told Myke SirKayo Knox, my son to clean up and get rid of "stuff"...
I looked under his bed and there were 3 bottles and a girl that I saw on a milk carton in 1998 -
I found his pacifier - science project that I am CERTAIN he received an "A+" from the 4th grade -
SMH...Really?
Jesus, have Mercy on him - the next 17 weeks and 6 days are going to be "A Different World" -
I am literally shaking my head and rolling on the floor laughing...because he got mad that I was inspecting his work...
If you have been to basic training....PLEASE LIKE...I think he is taking his Play Station with him...ROFL... ♥

It is just 3 more days...

On Saturday - Michale will be anointed and prayed for - then we will take lots of pictures so I can put them on this Blog.

I am so excited I can't sleep - Most people say I will be sad when he leaves...right now I do not feel that sadness is what I will have.

I know that Michale has a very special gift in him - I know that he loves to be challenged and in the past 1 1/2 years - He has not been challenged.  The other thing that makes me know this is right for him - Since the age of 13 - Michale has traveled...with and without me.
Michale has been to Mexico more that 10 times - He has cruised 15 times give or take - He has been to Europe, Spain, Italy, Dubrovnik, France - Bahamas
One year my dad took him on a jet ski for him to try and ride at 65 mph - He did too.  He has also taking flying lessons...Michale flew an airplane, no kidding.  He has been on the Colorado River, white water rafting.  He has been to equestrian training and did very well.  Michale has his black belt in Korean Karate.  I remember my dad and I took him to Wrightwood, Ca to ski - We got there  at 6:00 am - Michale took ONE lesson and he Snow Boarded for eight hours - no food, no drink, no potty break, just up and down the slopes.  At one point he stood still for about 45 seconds and fell over on his face and said - I.m not ready to go yet...by the time we got him unpacked out of all his snow gear - he was sleep.
He took ice skating lesson in Palos Veredes at the mall.  Michale took piano lessons for 6 months - he can but wont play now.  Do you remember the movie Drum Line...?  He watched that movie three times a day - and learn how to play drums...my brother - bless his heart, bought him a drum kit...we lived in an apartment at the time...thank God people like us. Then he wanted to play Bass - while he was in Drum Corp - with Terry Moore - he again self-taught himself to play Bass.  Terri Moore is the mother of Dustin Moore - FAMOUS bass player - Myke took lessons for awhile - then one day he came home with an Up Right Bass - but if you have ever watch him play ANY instrument it is mind-blowing!  You can get caught up...that is what this little person was gifted with.  In 3rd grade - Cookie Simms had the class do a skit - that was what I thought...it was MIME.  I had never seen that before. We join a church here in Texas - I saw these young men MIME - I was in awe - of that gift!
Michale has had a very FULL life already - there is another thing I just thought about - He has always attended Christian School - one of his teachers told me - there was a fight at recess and Mr. Michale - told the two kids the Jesus would not be happy with you.  He had a group of kids there and he asked them to make a circle around the two fighter and pray.  He has ALWAYS been an exceptional kid.  I am so very proud.
Lee Harris is a friend - when he met us - he was impressed with Michale...he said, "I could not tell that your son is from a single parent household." Now relax...there is a story behind that...anyway - what that says is I am a virtuous woman.  I will not let anything get in the way of my family.  I will do what needs to be done until it is done.  I cannot take all the credit, God has always been the fuel of my fire.  My mother and my auntie boo we right in the midst of raising this wonderful young man.  We I think about it - there are several people who have poured love and care into me and Michale.
MY BIG MA, My dad - Turner, my brother, Turner, Mr. Reid, Huncle Herman, Auntie Linda, Auntie Marilyn & the girls, Joshua, Reggie Brass, Derek, Pops, G-Loc, Gaurd-F ather Herm, Gaurd-Mother Wina, Terry Moore, Dustin Moore, Lee & Gigi Harris, Eric, Edwin, Jessica & Mika, Cousin Meka,  Aunite Isoke, TT, Rueben & Matthew, Norm & Alecia, his sister - Karrie,  Cookie Simms, Pastor Charles, Pastor Larry, Pastor & Elder Dyer & all of the PFWC family, Uncle Eddie, All of the Newells, Fiffie, Steffie, Cousin Will, Ronald's Nana, Uncle Kafi & Deb - Oh - My Aunt Kat & Uncle Tone-Tone, Tri-Tri, Bankston, Glenna, Keena, Lafreda, Ray, UNCLE, Mom & Pop Irby, All the Texas TT's - Side bar - when reading the Bible, there are scriptures that have name that seem to go on forever...now I get it.  And to Paul - thank you for the "chat with the boys" (wink-wink)
There are so many people that I want to thank - if I did not list you it is not because you are not significant...YOU ARE - I just looked at the clock and it is 4:30 in the morning on Thursday - I get up in 15 minutes for the 5 am prayer call...I have not been sleep since 1:30 am - hhhmmm...Well, I guess I AM excited.

Michale - I am so proud of you.  After salvation, you are the greatest gift I have EVER received, EVER!!!

Michale & Michelle - Ride or Die!!
